The West Coast cycling route starts from Haikou, through Danzhou, Changjiang, Dongfang, and Yacheng before arriving in Sanya. It is the longest of the three main cycling routes in Hainan with a distance of almost 450 KMs. The route should be fine for most riders because the whole route is a bit hilly, but with no steep slopes. Generally, cities on Hainan's west coast are less developed than the eastern ones, but you can see much more natural scenery on this route.
