Among the arcade buildings in Deshengsha, Haikou, the “Five-storey Building” is extraordinary. In the 1930s, it was the most luxurious hotel and also the tallest building in Haikou, because it had five floors and was the largest one. The Five Storey Building has changed with time and is now one of the wholesale clothes shops on Deshengsha Street in Haikou.
